About NLP:

NLP otherwise known as Neuro-Linguistic Programming is a widely used practice for both personal development and team building within corporate structures. A shift in the mind and practices that create environments. Neuro = Nervous system (physiology, psychology) Linguistic = Is about the language used i.e. tone, word choice, and pace of speech will significantly influence the environments) Programming = the habits and routines that we establish within ourselves creating the behavior responses both conscious and subconscious.

     NLP helps build confidence, increase communication skills, and develop strong mental focus and habits through specific techniques and individual practices. NLP takes the focus from “finding your why” and “emphasizes implementing the how”. NLP is a method to take control of your thought, influence your emotions, and determine your behaviors by the activity and lifestyle that you employ to do so. Schematic Heuristics are filters that shape and for some people dictate actions or inactions and personal beliefs or the willingness to engage on specific levels within life’s variables. No one can control what has happened, what might happen, or recreate the choices that we made in our lives. Everyone can deal with what has happened, deal with what is happening, and make current and new choices that will most assuredly effect our lives.
